Above the wreck

The dive boat rocks gently above the wreck of a famous ship, lost for a hundred years. Mira, a veteran diver, checks the oxygen tanks one last time as the water below fades from green to black. Before you drop beneath the waves, you must choose your first move.

Into the dark: You sink along the anchor line into colder, darker water, and Leo taps his air gauge with a worried frown. The needle is dropping faster than it should, and a side current tugs at your fins. Every metre down trades light and air for a closer look at the wreck.

Gold or the logbook: Inside the flooded cargo hold, a heavy chest glints with gold coins in your torchlight. Right beside it rests the captain's sealed logbook, swollen with seawater and secrets. Mira taps her gauge: there is only air enough to carry one of them up.
