Mira, in a teal sweater and cream skirt, stands by a lantern-lit marina under a full moon
Scene 01

The old flame returns

Midnight settles over the marina, and the yachts rock gently against their ropes. At the far end of the dock stands Mira, the one who left years ago without a word, her silhouette lit by a single swinging lantern. She turns, and the old pull between you is instantly, dangerously alive again.

The secret between you: The word for secret hangs in the salt air, and Mira's easy smile flickers. Whatever drove her away that summer is still here, standing invisibly between you on the narrow dock. She meets your eyes, ready at last to let you closer to the truth, or to your own mercy.
Scene 02

The secret between you

The word for secret hangs in the salt air, and Mira's easy smile flickers. Whatever drove her away that summer is still here, standing invisibly between you on the narrow dock. She meets your eyes, ready at last to let you closer to the truth, or to your own mercy.

At the water's edge: Mira turns toward you beneath the marina lantern, with moonlight on the water
Scene 03

At the water's edge

You reach the very end of the dock, where the black water laps at the boards and there is nowhere left to hide. Mira stands close, the lantern light warm on her face, waiting to see whether you will risk your heart again. This is the moment the whole night has been leading toward.
