THE FUN WAY TO LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH

You don’t need perfect English to have a story.

Listen. Try a line. Try again. Every conversation is another small step toward confidence.

How does it work, and what do I need?

Choose a story and mode, select your intention, then tap the microphone and speak English. An accepted spoken reply unlocks the next scene. Each story and mode keeps its own checkpoint in your account. Sign in first; a paid plan is required after your free trial.

Use HTTPS, a microphone, and a browser with speech recognition. Without speech support, you can preview opening scenes and listen. Your browser may send audio to its speech service. Your transcript is sent to Pine Speak to check the reply. Audio and transcripts are not stored.

Checked from your English transcript on your device and verified when you continue: the chosen line in Echo, or a complete, relevant response in Remix and Improv. A few missing or misheard words are okay when your intention stays clear. This checks wording and context, not pronunciation, grammar accuracy, or an official English level. In Improv, use your own wording for the selected story intention; characters follow authored branches.

Every scene theme is generated on your device. It calls no paid AI or music API and never consumes learner credits.

Questions about the English speaking app

What is Pine Speak?

Pine Speak is an interactive English speaking practice app. You speak out loud to make choices, talk with story characters, and move a branching story toward different endings.

Can I practise English speaking without a teacher?

Yes. Pine Speak gives you a model sentence, useful clues, or an open speaking prompt depending on the mode. It is designed for regular solo speaking practice, while a teacher can still help with deeper pronunciation and conversation feedback.

Which English levels does Pine Speak support?

Does Pine Speak teach useful real-life English?

Yes. Stories rehearse practical language such as ordering food, asking for help, clarifying a mistake, making plans, disagreeing politely, negotiating and explaining a decision.

Is Pine Speak free?

You can create a free account and try a limited selection. Continued access and higher usage are included with a paid plan shown on the pricing page.
